David Camuccio, O.D.
Dr. David Camuccio graduated with a B.A. degree in Biology from Florida Atlantic University, graduating in three years after testing out of his freshman year by C.L.E.P. Examination. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Camuccio has been practicing in the San Fernando Valley for over 40 years. His first 15 years were at the Valley Eye Center as Chief of Optometry. Dr. Camuccio also served as a staff doctor at the Center for the Partially Sighted in Santa Monica, UCLA Laser Refractive Center, and as Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the Southern California College of Optometry. He is a past President of The San Fernando Valley Optometric Society.
He takes tremendous pride in providing his patients with the highest level of care, whether writing a prescription, fitting contact lenses, treating a medical condition or co-managing surgical patients. He works closely with the most experienced surgeons who use state-of-art technology. Dr. Camuccio informs and gives advise on a variety of treatment modalities, including glasses, contact lenses, refractive and cataract surgery.
When Dr. Camuccio is not working, he enjoys most sports, particularly tennis, basketball, baseball, running, bicycling, backpacking, camping, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife Marie and their five boys, Matthew, Nicholas, Andrew, Brian and Joey.
